Overnight work by the City contractors on the Esplanade and George Street South

This may or may not affect us, since no work is scheduled on Wilton Street or George south of The Esplanade. However it may mean noise for some members. Please note that a Board member received this flyer through indirect means, not from the City of Toronto.

“The City of Toronto’s work on The Esplanade, George Street South and other local roads is progressing well. This notice is to provide an update on the water service connection work on:
• The Esplanade between George Street South and Lower Jarvis Street
• George Street South between The Esplanade and Front Street

Water service replacement work is being conducted at night to minimize daytime water service disruptions.

The contractor will replace water service connections nightly from 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 29, until 7:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 01. The contractor is permitted overnight work to reduce the impact of no water service during the day.

When this overnight work is complete, regular work hours will resume. Your patience and understanding is appreciated during this disruption and overnight work.”
